# Vellum > The data layer for AI agents on Solana. AI agents need data. Vellum fetches prices, holders, launches, X, web and GitHub data in seconds. Wire it on a drafting table or call it from your own agent. Vellum is a visual node editor, called the drafting table, for building autonomous trading agents on Solana. You drag parts onto a sheet, connect outputs to inputs, and run the sheet to watch every part respond with real values. When the strategy works, you fund the agent wallet and switch it on: the agent keeps running on the Vellum side and trades on Solana mainnet. Swaps route through the Jupiter aggregator, transfers go out as SOL or SPL transactions. There are 15 parts, grouped by category: - Flow Control: Start, Schedule - Data Source: Token Info, Holder Check, GitHub, Web Search, Twitter Check, Pump.fun, xStocks - Action: Transaction, Token Swap - Logic & AI: AI Assistant, Synapse, Blocker - Data Storage: Database AI Workflow Generator: Describe a strategy in plain words and get a wired sheet back. The generator knows every part and connects them for you. Every part is also available as an HTTP endpoint (the Agent API) under https://usevellum.fun/agent/, so the same building blocks can be called from your own code. ## Docs - [Node reference](https://usevellum.fun/docs): What each part reads, what it returns, and how to wire it - [Full reference as plain text](https://usevellum.fun/llms-full.txt): Every part with inputs, outputs and settings, plus all guides ## Key pages - [Home](https://usevellum.fun/): What Vellum is and how a sheet goes from sketch to a running agent - [Drafting table](https://usevellum.fun/tools): The node editor where agents are drawn, tested and switched on - [Agent API](https://usevellum.fun/agents): Every part as an HTTP endpoint, with parameters, request and response - [Guides](https://usevellum.fun/guides): Video guides that build something useful with parts that fetch on-chain and social data for AI agents in seconds ## API - [Agent API explorer](https://usevellum.fun/agents): Place an endpoint on the sheet to read its parameters, request and response, and create API keys - [Endpoint registry (JSON)](https://usevellum.fun/agent): GET returns every endpoint with its method, parameters and outputs - [OpenAPI spec](https://usevellum.fun/openapi.json): OpenAPI 3.1 description of every part, one POST operation per part, generated from the live schemas - [MCP server](https://usevellum.fun/mcp): Streamable HTTP MCP endpoint, every part is available as a tool; requires an API key - Authentication: create an API key on the Agent API page and send "Authorization: Bearer vk_..." or "X-API-Key: vk_...". Keys read data by default; swap, transaction and orchestrator control need the "trade" scope. Limits per account: 60 data, 10 trade and 20 AI part calls per minute. ## Guides - [All guides](https://usevellum.fun/guides): Every published guide with its video, newest first - [Build a token research report in seconds](https://usevellum.fun/guides/build-a-token-research-report): Pull price, liquidity, holders, X, web and GitHub data in parallel, let an AI rate the token from 1 to 10 and keep every report in your own table.
